Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost?

We price by the load, not by the hour or the item. The minimum call-out is £85, a quarter load £140, half £250, three-quarters £350, and a full load £390 for up to one tonne. Every price includes two men loading for the first 30 minutes, then £60 an hour for the pair.

A few things carry a surcharge because of how they have to be disposed of: mattresses £45, fridges £65, TVs and monitors £15, hardcore £5 a bag.

Tell us what you’ve got on the phone and we’ll give you an estimate. The crew confirm the exact price when they see it, and it can go down as well as up.

Do I need to be there?

Not necessarily. If the waste is somewhere the crew can reach — a front garden, a side alley, an unlocked garage — we can clear it while you’re out and send a payment link by text afterwards.

The one thing we do need is to reach you by phone while we’re there, so we can confirm the price before we load.

Are you licensed?

Yes. London Eco Logic Ltd is a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency, licence CBDU94612, company number 12089607. We’ve been clearing waste across South East London since 2019.

This matters more than most people realise. Under duty of care rules you remain legally responsible for your household waste even after someone else takes it away, so if it’s fly-tipped it can come back to you. Ask any carrier for their registration number before you let them load.

What happens to the waste?

It goes to a licensed transfer station and gets sorted there. Around 90% of what we collect is recycled or recovered rather than sent to landfill — metal, timber, cardboard, garden waste and most furniture all have somewhere better to go.

How quickly can you come out?

Our lines are open 8am to 10pm, seven days a week, and we run four trucks across the South East London patch. Call and we’ll tell you honestly when we can get to you.
